A challenging slope left this dated landscape with few opportunities to take advantage of the total space.

A pool brought much needed relief from the central Texas heat, and now occupied the only patch of grass this young family had to play and stretch out, but it, once again was skipped, so little opportunity to kick a ball or play,and the uneven native stone terrace have little room to grill and relax.

Our team added a level terrace for play, carpeted with synthetic turf, retained by steel ribbon walls, and flanked with native and adapted plantings. A custom cantilevered steel patio cover protects a modular and mobile outdoor kitchen and communal space. Custom cut Leuder pavers set in black Basalt gravel link the home to this space and the pool deck as well.
